Polar Skate Co. was founded by skateboarding legend Pontus Alv. After working with Clichè and Mad Circle in the early 2000s and travelling worldwide, he returned to his Swedish hometown in 2003 to focus on new projects, particularly skateboard filming.
Pontus Alv became a renowned filmmaker with the timeless skate movies “Strongest Of The Strange” and “In Search Of The Miracolous”, cementing his place in the global skateboarding scene. Drawing on this experience, he launched Polar Skate Co. in Malmö around 2011.
