To fully understand DGK’s philosophy, you need to know its legendary founder, Stevie Williams. Stevie was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. The young skater improved day after day and soon joined the cream of Philadelphia’s skateboarding scene. Stevie Williams began skating at the age of eight and quickly showed his talent. By the age of 12, he was already part of a skate crew made up of friends such as Jeff Pang and other Element Skateboards riders. Stevie Williams’ group of skaters was already known as DGK, short for “Dirty Ghetto Kids”.
