Build Your Snowboard Outfit
Dressing properly for a day on the mountain means finding the right balance between weather protection, moisture management, thermal insulation and freedom of movement.
Choosing individual technical garments is not enough: your jacket, pants and base layers need to work together and adapt to the conditions you ride in. Our tool is designed to simplify this process and help you build a balanced setup starting from the Pleasures Milano selection of snowboard clothing.
Since 1999, we have worked directly within the snowboard world, selecting products based on technical features, fit and real-world use. In the builder, you enter your profile — men, women or kids — together with your height, weight and usual size. This information is used to organise the available products and narrow down options that are less relevant to your profile.
The recommendations are intended as a starting point and do not replace trying on a garment, as fit, body proportions and personal preferences can vary even between riders of the same height and weight.

How to Choose Snowboard Clothing
An effective clothing system starts with layering. Your snowboard base layer and thermal underwear sits next to the skin and should help manage moisture generated during activity. A mid layer provides additional insulation when temperatures and conditions require it, while the outer layer primarily protects against snow, wind and moisture.
For outerwear, important factors include waterproofing, breathability, seam construction, ventilation, insulation and fit. A men's snowboard jacket or women's snowboard jacket should provide enough room for the layers underneath without restricting movement. The same principle applies to pants: you can compare men's snowboard pants and women's snowboard pants separately according to the fit you prefer.
Accessories complete the system. Your hands, feet, neck and head are areas where comfort and protection can make a significant difference during a day on the mountain. For this reason, you can also add snowboard and ski gloves, technical socks, neck warmers and beanies to your setup.

How the Snowboard Outfit Builder Works
The process starts by creating your profile. After selecting men, women or kids and entering your height, weight and usual size, you can start with your jacket and progressively add pants or bibs, gloves, thermal layers and accessories. Currently available sizes are displayed directly on the product cards, while different colour variants can be compared as you build your outfit.
Every item you select is added to your outfit summary. This allows you to review your setup as you progress, reconfigure your profile or change a selection before completing the process. Optional components can be skipped, so you do not need to add something from every category to finish your outfit.
The system does not force you into a predefined combination. Height, weight and usual size help narrow down the selection, but temperature, activity level, personal sensitivity to cold and your preference for a regular or looser fit remain individual factors. For more detailed advice on layering and technical clothing, read our guide on how to choose snowboard clothing.

Build Your Setup with Pleasures Milano Experience
The builder was developed as a digital extension of the work we do in our store: understanding the rider's needs, comparing products that match their profile and leaving the final choice in their hands. If you also want to build your equipment setup, you can use our Snowboard Configurator, designed to guide you through the selection of a snowboard, bindings, boots and other setup components. If you skate, you can also use our Skateboard Configurator, with a dedicated process for building a complete skateboard.
You can create an essential outfit or build a more complete layering system that can be adapted throughout the season. In milder conditions, you may need less insulation between your base and outer layers; on colder days, you can increase warmth by adding an appropriate thermal layer. The goal is to create a modular clothing system that can adapt to changing conditions rather than simply adding layers without a specific purpose.
If you are unsure between two sizes, have questions about the fit of a product or want advice on how to combine your layers, you can contact the Pleasures Milano team before purchasing. The builder is designed to narrow down the options and make the selection process easier, while personal experience, riding conditions and preferred fit remain important parts of the final decision.
