How to Choose a Skateboard Deck

The deck is the starting point of your skateboard setup.

Truck width should be properly matched to the width of the deck. For this reason, the configurator uses the size of your selected deck as a reference while you build your setup.

Next come the skateboard wheels. Wheel diameter and hardness can make a noticeable difference to how your board feels and performs.

Smaller wheels are widely used for street skateboarding, while larger diameters can provide more roll and momentum. Wheel hardness also affects grip, feel and responsiveness.
